Welcome to Manna ("the App"), developed and operated by Believe PR, owned by Armando Jimenez. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy.

Manna is a Christian affirmations app designed to help you gather daily truth through Scripture-inspired affirmations. The app provides daily affirmations across 20 categories, customizable reminders, personal affirmation creation, and visual themes to enhance your spiritual practice.

2. Privacy-First Approach

Manna is built on a privacy-first foundation. We believe your spiritual practice and personal affirmations should remain entirely private. Unlike many apps, we:

• Store all data locally on your device only
• Never upload your user data to any servers
• Don't require email, login, or any personal information
• Include zero analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• Operate fully offline — no internet connection required for core functionality

Important: If you delete the app, all your data will be permanently lost. We cannot recover it because we never had access to it. Use the in-app backup feature to save your data before uninstalling.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Create

All of the following data is stored locally on your device and is NEVER transmitted to our servers or any third party:

• Affirmations: Built-in and custom affirmations you create (in English and/or Spanish)
• Favorites: Affirmations you bookmark for quick access
• Custom Mixes: Category combinations you create
• Custom Themes: Visual themes with colors, fonts, and background images
• Hidden Affirmations: Content you choose to hide from your feed
• Reminder Settings: Notification schedules, times, days, and preferred categories
• Backup Files: Encrypted JSON exports of all your data

3.2 Usage Data Stored Locally

The following usage data is stored on your device only for app functionality (e.g., streak tracking, review prompts) and is NEVER transmitted externally:

• Session Data: Total sessions, days used, and last session date
• Engagement Data: Swipe counts, favorites count, share count
• Streak Data: Current streak and activity dates
• Preferences: Theme mode, language selection, display settings

3.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do NOT collect or have access to:

• Apply your chosen visual themes and display preferences

• Enable backup and restore of your personal data

5. Data Storage & Security

All your personal data is stored on your device using:

• Database: Local SQLite/Drift database (manna.sqlite)
• Preferences: SharedPreferences for settings
• Images: App document directory for custom theme images
• iOS: Secure app sandbox with iOS encryption
• Android: Internal app storage with Android security

5.1 Data Retention

• Data remains on your device indefinitely until you delete it
• Deleting the app removes all local data permanently
• Backup files you export are under your control

5.2 Backup & Restore

Manna provides a backup and restore feature:

• Backups are stored as JSON files in the app documents directory
• Maximum backup file size: 10 MB
• Backups contain all your affirmations, settings, themes, and preferences
• Backup files are stored locally and never uploaded to any server
• You are responsible for safeguarding any exported backup files

6. Permissions

6.1 Required Permissions

Notifications

• Purpose: Deliver scheduled affirmation reminders
• Privacy: Notifications are generated locally and do not transmit data
• Control: You can disable notifications at any time in device settings

Local Storage

• Purpose: Save app data, themes, and backup files on your device

6.2 Optional Permissions

Photo Library Access

• Purpose: Select images for custom theme backgrounds and mix cover images
• What We Access: Only photos you explicitly select through the image picker
• Storage: Selected images are copied to the app directory and stored locally

Save to Photo Library

• Purpose: Save affirmation screenshots to your photo library for sharing
• Control: Only triggered when you explicitly share or save an affirmation

6.3 Permissions We DON'T Request

Manna does NOT request:

• ❌ Microphone
• ❌ Camera (we use the system photo picker only)
• ❌ Bluetooth
• ❌ Internet access for data collection

7. Third-Party Services

Manna is designed to operate without third-party services. We do NOT integrate:

• ❌ Google AdMob or any advertising service
• ❌ Facebook SDK or any social media tracker
• ❌ Any analytics or tracking platform
• ❌ Any cloud storage or sync service
• ❌ Any payment processing service

7.1 Platform Services

The only external interactions are through standard platform features:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: App distribution and updates
• In-App Review: Native OS review prompt (no data is sent to us)
• Share Sheet: System share functionality when you choose to share an affirmation
• URL Launcher: Opens external links (developer website, Instagram) in your default browser

These are standard operating system features and are governed by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.

No Advertising Services: Manna does NOT use Google AdMob or any other advertising service. There are no ads in the app.

8. Your Privacy Rights
